Lia Virkuse's dip recipes for pea snacks

To make the crunchy pea snacks even more perfect, we decided to create dip recipes to go along with the healthy snacks!

While you usually make several different dips and they all work well as a dip for any snack, chip, or vegetable, it's not that easy with pea snacks. Pea snacks have a strong, distinct flavor that doesn't go well with many dip ingredients.

We tasked a food journalist and recipe creator with developing a dip recipe. To Lia Virkuse, who is also the author of many cookbooks, and we asked him to develop recipes for both sea salt and cheese pea snacks.

The result was three different dip recipes:
  • dip for pea snacks with sea salt,
  • cheese dip for pea snacks
  • and vegan dip for both pea snack flavors

These are simple and clean recipes that can be prepared in a few minutes and have a memorable taste – less is more. Considering the flavor components, one dip is suitable for only one flavor and another for another.

Can't I use any dipping sauce recipe for my pea snacks?

,,I tried 5-6 different dipping sauce flavor combinations, but neither flavor suited the pea snacks - the purest flavors were the only ones that worked.
