Recognized MySnack fruit bars

Six months of customer-centric design thinking and idea testing have come to an end. Joint institution of Enterprise Estonia and KredEx The design masterclass ended with a proud finale for 20 participants, including us, where they had to present the juicy, but oh so sweet fruits of hard work - MySnack healthy bars.

Months of thinking paid off because we actually grabbed ourselves a second place! A big thank you to our awesome team: Ellyt Talv, Liina Vahenurm and Erko Käärats. It's an honor to work with such great people and promote Estonian snack culture! A big thank you also to our design director, To Dan Mikkin, who was our spiritual father and guide on this journey.

A challenging but enjoyable semester

We were lucky that the masterclass came at a time when we already had the fruit bars designed, but the packaging hadn't been designed. In addition, we had received a lot of positive feedback on the flavors of the very healthy bars, so taking them to the masterclass seemed like the only right choice.

The challenge for us was that the team and I spent part of the masterclass on farms in Vietnam. Due to the time difference, we were able to talk to the design manager and participate in webinars sometimes late at night. We had worked in the plantations all day, quickly washed the soil off, and rushed to the computer screen. However, we can proudly say that we participated in the program 100%, and it didn't matter under what conditions and where in the world we participated.

The most enjoyable part of the Design Masterclass program was that all the tasks we went through guided us to be more sustainable and customer-centric. We gained very valuable tools that we have now incorporated into our company for future use.

Of course, we can't forget the sweet feeling when we were announced as winners! It gave us a lot of momentum and motivation. We received confirmation that products that support a healthy lifestyle are still the right direction. As a provider of healthy snacks with 11 years of experience, we have been a very important pioneer and promoter of snack culture throughout the years. But in recent years, we have also noticed a change – while before we were looking for people who wanted to take care of their health, now they are finding us. We are extremely happy about this! Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years!

New healthy fruit bars

We added whole to our snack selection six extra juicy fruit bars. The attentive viewer already saw from the video that all MySnack fruit bars are made according to our own recipes. There is not a single gram of concentrate or useless additives in the bars. They are made quite consciously directly on our farms or near them, because we do not want to transport half-picked fruits around the world. This way we can bring you the highest nutritional value of the fruits and reduce the harmful impact on the environment.
