Small steps to increase daily movement
Lack of exercise is detrimental to both our mental and physical health and can increase anxiety and feelings of depression. Even if we would like to be more physically active, we often lack motivation and cannot create a consistent exercise habit. What could be some small steps to increase our daily exercise?
In the new Tre Radio show Health minutes with Ellyt, says Ellyt Talv, a nutritionist and creator of MySnack healthy snacks, that we should first think clearly about why we need to keep ourselves constantly moving.

„"Exercise keeps muscles toned, increases lung capacity, gives strength, energy, and strengthens immunity. No one is forcing you to become an athlete, but you need to approach exercise positively and think of it as something very simple! For example, prefer the stairs to the elevator, invite a friend to walk instead of sitting in a cafe, and use a movement app on your smart device that will let you know if you've been in one place for too long."”
Moving increases your appetite. The more you move, the more your body and mind want it, and as a bonus, stress decreases and happiness hormones such as dopamine and serotonin are released! How to start regular exercise, what to pay attention to, so as not to do yourself a disservice by overexerting yourself, Ellyt spoke more in the Tre Raadio program on March 8.
