Study: People are satisfied with their diet and sleep, but there are concerns about energy levels and mental well-being
MySnack recently conducted a health survey among 440 people in Estonia. The survey revealed that people are least satisfied with their energy levels, nutritional knowledge, and emotional and mental well-being. People are most satisfied with overall health, a balanced diet, and adequate sleep.

Of the respondents to the survey, 92% were women and 8% were men. The average age of the participant was 37. The health issues of working people, office workers and shift workers were the most popular, with 65% respondents. The focus groups of schoolchildren and young people and families with small children received an equal number of votes, with about 37%.
Satisfaction across different aspects
50% of the respondents found that they were rather satisfied with their balanced diet. 39% of the respondents felt strongly about their knowledge of nutrients, while 33% were rather dissatisfied with it. 44% were rather satisfied with their regular exercise and 18% were very satisfied. 46% of the respondents thought that their sleep was sufficient, but 27% were rather not getting enough sleep and nearly 10% were not at all satisfied with their sleep. 42% were rather satisfied with their digestion and 11% were very satisfied. 28% were rather dissatisfied with their digestion.

Half of the respondents, or 50%, are rather satisfied with their overall health, and 36% find that they can also be satisfied with their energy level. On the other hand, 40% respondents are rather dissatisfied with their energy level. 40% are rather satisfied with their emotional and mental well-being, 32% are rather dissatisfied, and 8% are not satisfied at all.
The most popular concerns were related to energy levels, sleep, and fatigue.
Many people complain of being overly tired, even when they have had enough sleep. Others struggle with constant insomnia and problems during the night. They are also concerned about their own and their family's energy levels and want to improve their mental well-being, reduce stress and tension. Almost a third of the participants in the MySnack health study struggle with either sleep problems or lack of energy. Many also suffer from mental health problems, and the questions they wanted to answer were: how does our mental health affect our physical health, how can we think less about food and eating, and how can we maintain our mental health in the long term?
Weight loss was also one of the most popular wishes, but it was wanted to be done in a healthy way. Unfortunately, there is confusion about e-substances, vitamins, food intolerances and allergies, as well as the daily amounts of carbohydrates, fats, etc. Topics such as food purity, the use of additives, the content of toxins in fruits and vegetables, and digestion and bacteria were also popular. Pain in various joints, problems with body parts or organs, often with the heart, were also mentioned. People are looking for a solution to problems arising from office work, such as neck and back pain.
Respondents would also like to know more about children's health and nutrition - where to get the necessary nutrients, how to prevent youth from becoming overweight, and what to do if kindergarten children are constantly sick. They also want to know more about nutrition during pregnancy to maintain good health and sufficient energy levels.
Good news! You will get the answer to all these questions if you follow MySnack homepage or Facebook page, because soon we are planning an exciting health show based on research results with Tre Radio.
